Comes from 1671 English colonists (Pilgrims) with a great urge to eat Turkey. It became a great celebration for the people, as well as the beef, chicken, and pork, giving them a three-day head start to break free of their captivity and run for the hills. This was proven later on in the 17th century to be a mistake for the farm animals in places like Arkansas, Louisiana, and many other states because unseen Feral people lived wild in the woods, waiting, watching, and licking their chops. Barbeques hot and ready at the edge of these woods, waiting, watching like Scottman in the days of Braveheart and ready to show them turkeys their arces. These escaped animals could not hide. Everywhere they went. Even under the safety of the night, they would feel humans staring, looking like turkeys licking their lips. The turkeys tried to go to Washington, except the turkeys in power thought they were much better than the turkeys being feasted on, and it was to no avail. Eventually, the martyr of the Turkey world joined the Barnum Bailey circus after a hungry farmer chopped off his head, and the gobbler lived for months after eventually succumbing to an attack of human turkey gobbles at Thanks for Giving, as it was called through the 1700s,1800s and into the 19 th century. Nowadays, during feast time, humans fill the turkey’s bums with bread crumbs and all sorts of vegetables to relieve their guilt and give a sense of relief as if they are feeding the turkey. This is how Thanksgiving came to be; well, enjoy Thanksgiving and a happy holiday I hope you enjoyed my history lesson.
